The Chicago Bears take on the Detroit Lions today in a game on the NFL football game schedule which sees one NFC North team piecing together what had looked like a broken 2015 season, and the other team in utter freefall. Today’s game has an afternoon start time and will air on a network TV channel in some regions alongside a live stream online option.
Chicago hit the reset button this offseason and brought in new head coach John Fox. The Bears and Jay Cutler proceeded to lose their first three games on the schedule, but have since turned things around win wins over Oakland and Kansas City. Another victory today would elevate them to .500 for the season. Detroit was a playoff team last season, but has managed to lose all five of its games this season so far. Jim Caldwell benched quarterback Matthew Stafford last week but says he’ll start today as the Lions try to find some steady ground at home.
