The Washington Wizards attempt to flush the Chicago Bulls out of the playoffs tonight in Game 5 of their NBA basketball playoff series, with the Wizards having taken a three games to one advantage in the series – and suddenly it appears the winner of the series will have an easier go of it in the next round. The Bulls offense has offered looks that have ranged from stagnant to flat out inept, with the team having made the playoffs out of sheer force of will (and defense) without franchise centerpiece Derrick Rose this season. But that road could end tonight.
The winners of the Bulls-Wizards series was originally thought to be facing the top seeded Indiana Pacers next, but with the Pacers now down 3-2 to the Hawks, the winner of this series could not only be facing an easier opponent, but doing so with home court advantage. That makes tonight’s Game Five crucial for both teams.
Tonight’s Chicago Bulls vs Washington Wizards NBA playoff game tips off in Chicago with starting time of 8pm eastern, 7pm local Chicago time, and is nationally televised on TV channel TNT.
