Duke vs Louisville basketball game: final score, winner, schedule

Duke took on Louisville today in a college basketball game between Top-10 ranked teams who each had something to prove in the ACC. The Duke Blue Devils were coming off a humiliating loss to the Miami Hurricanes by a 90-74 final score and needed a rebound win. The Louisville Cardinals were trying to show that they belonged in the same breath with in-state rival number one ranked Kentucky. But the game was never overly competitive, and the final score reflected as much.

Duke led at halftime by a score of 30-20, with Louisville still having a chance. By the time it was all said and done, Blue Devils star Jahlil Okafor scored 18 points and Amile Jefferson scored 19 points. Louisville only had one player score more than ten points, with Terry Rozier notching 17 for the game. The second half saw the two teams more or less retain their first-half positions, and the final score was 63-52 in favor of Duke. Next up..

Duke takes on Pittsburgh at home on Monday night, while the next stop on the schedule for Louisville is also against Pittsburgh, as the team gets a full eight days off before traveling to Pitt for an afternoon game on January 25th.
