The Houston Astros and the Kansas City Royals faced off today in Game 4 of their American League Divisional Series baseball playoff matchup, with the Astros holding a 2-1 series lead and looking to clinch at home, and the Royals looking to fight to see another day. Today’s game was a wild one which saw fifteen combined runs scored between the two teams, and now the series is far from over.
Houston won the first game of the series by a 5-2 final score, but Kansas City bounced back to win game two by a score of 5-4. The series then shifted to Houston, where the Astros won game three by a 4-2 score, giving them the series lead. The KC Royals tried to stave off elimination as they send starting pitcher Yordano Ventura to the mound. The Astros tried to close things out with starting pitcher Lance McCullers.
