NASCAR race today - Bristol Sprint Cup 500, TV channel, live stream, schedule

The 2016 NASCAR Sprint Cup race schedule zooms into Bristol today for the Food City 500, with the early days of the new season still getting underway on the schedule. Today’s action is at a historic track in Tennessee, and may be the most important race of the season to date since the Daytona 500. Today’s race has an afternoon start time and airs on a national TV channel as well as being made available as a live stream online option.

Kyle Busch currently leads the NASCAR Sprint Cup standings with 259 points so far for the season. Jimmie Johnson is in second place, just six points back, while Kevin Harvick is in third place, just one point behind Johnson. Carl Edwards and Joey Logano round out the top five, while fan favorite Dale Earnhardt Jr is in sixth place. Kyle Busch’s brother Kurt Busch is in seventh place heading into the day.

Today’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Bristol 500 race has a start time schedule of 1:00pm eastern time on television, and a green flag start of 1:13pm, airing on TV channel FOX. The race is also airing as a live stream online.
