Netflix has updated its mobile app to version 6.0 with a list of changes which include faster startup for video playback, minor interface changes which it’s referring to as a “UI refresh” and a series of unspecified bug fixes. The update may not sound like it’s worth rolling the version number over to another whole number, but the update is in fact free.
The Netflix mobile app is available for iOS devices like the iPhone and iPad, along with the Android platform. The app itself is free, but does require a monthly paid subscription which can also be used on televison sets. Netflix content largely consists of new and old movies, entire seasons of older TV shows, and some exclusive content.
Users can get the Netflix 6.0 mobile app update by checking the App Store app or Software Update.
