NFL Mobile app for iPhone-Android updated with 2014 Draft info

The National Football League has updated it NFL Mobile app for iPhone, iPad and Android with new draft-specific details and features. The update comes just five days before the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Included are a Draft Tracker feature, video clips of potential draftees, and an interactive interface for predicting draft picks in advance. The Houston Texans have the first pick of the draft but opinions vary widely on what they’ll do with it. Perhaps users can put the new “Predict The Pick” feature to good use.

The NFL Mobile app is free for all major smartphone and tablet platforms, but has received mixed criticism for offering an overly complicated interface and for being too deeply tied into the NFL’s exclusive mobile partnership with Verizon, which shuts out the majority of smartphone users in the United States.

The official NFL app is available through the Apple App Store and Google Play.
