North Carolina v. South Carolina game today: TV channel live stream
The North Carolina Tar Heels take on the South Carolina Gamecocks today in their first game of the 2015 NCAA college football season, representing not only a battle between rival states, but rival conferences as well. The NC Tar Heels come out of the Coastal division of the ACC, while the USC Gamecocks hail from the East division of the SEC. The two rival conferences have been battling for superiority across multiple sports for decades, and this early-season game will give one of the two conferences bragging rights, at least briefly. The game is also a contest between North and South Carolina, two neighboring and, within a sports context, rival states. USC went 7-6 during the 2014 season while UNC went 6-7 last year, but both slates are wiped clean starting tonight.
