The Philadelphia Eagles and the Atlanta Falcons face off tonight in the first Monday Night Football game of the NFL 2015 season, with one team looking to take the next step into the playoffs and the other starting fresh with a new head coach. Tonight’s game has an unusually early start time due to the double header and airs on a national TV channel as well as being made available as a live stream online option.
Philadelphia hasn’t found postseason success with head coach Chip Kelly, so he’s retooled the offense by dumping quarterback Nick Foles and running back LeSean McCoy in favor of new arrivals Sam Bradford and DeMarco Murray, as pressure mounts for the Eagles to contend. Atlanta parted ways with longtime coach Mike Smith after falling out of contention and replaced him with former Seahawks coordinator Dan Quinn, and the Falcons now move forward with franchise quarterback Matt Ryan still in place. This is the first of two games tonight, with the Vikings and 49ers game to follow.
