It’s Oscar 2015 time. The 87th annual Academy Awards are taking place tonight at the Dolby Theater, with the usual pomp and circumstance. The entirety of Hollywood Boulevard has been shut down from Highland to La Brea all week to make room for the red carpet arrivals, the bleachers, even a ferris wheel. But now it’s time for the big night, with the awards show airing on a prominent TV channel as well as a live stream online option.

Neil Patrick Harris is handling Academy Awards hosting duties tonight, and several movies are considered favorites. Birdman and The Grand Budapest Hotel are each nominated for nine Oscars, while The Imitation Game is up for eight trophies. There will be several musical performances including Lady Gaga and Adam Levine among others, and the show will attempt to keep everything within the three hours of allotted time by playing off the longer speeches with increasingly loud music as per usual.

Tonight’s 87th Academy Awards have a start time of 8:30pm eastern time, 5:30pm pacific time, and are airing on TV channel ABC. The Oscars are also available as a live stream online.
