Arizona faced UTSA tonight in a Thursday night game which kicked off the week two schedule of the college football season, and saw both teams trying to continue their winning ways after dominating their season openers. The Arizona Wildcats crushed UNLV at home by a score of 58-13 last weekend, while the Texas San Antonio Roadrunners went on the road to defeat Houston by a score of 27-7. In the end, the game was decided by a final score margin of just three points.
Running back Nick Wilson was the star of the night for Arizona, rushing for 174 yards and one touchdown score, while Cayleb Jones had 143 yards receiving. UTSA saw a strong performance from starting quarterback Tucker Carter with 228 yards and one touchdown score but one costly interception.
Arizona was the winner over UTSA by a final score of 26-23. The next gammon the Arizona schedule is at home vs Nevada on September 13th, while the next game on the schedule for UTSA is at Oklahoma State, also on the 13th.
