The Carolina Panthers take on the Tennessee Titans today in an NFL football game on the second Saturday of the 2016 preseason schedule. Both teams look to take a step forward after coming off 2015 seasons which didn’t go quite the way they hoped, in a regional cross-conference matchup. Today’s game has an afternoon start time and airs on TV channels in some markets as well as being available on a live stream online option.

Carolina made it all the to the Super Bowl last season but didn’t perform as well as it had hoped in the big game. Now franchise quarterback Cam Newton and head coach Ron Rivera and the Panthers look to get back to the postseason this year and finish the job they started. Tennessee enters the season with second year high draft pick Marcus Mariota at QB, as new head coach Mike Mularkey and the Titans look to improve this year.
