Critics Choice Awards tonight: 2014 time, live TV channel, schedule


The Fourth Annual Critics Choice Awards air tonight, hosted by Cedric The Entertainer. The awards show aims to honor the top TV shows and TV actors of the 2013-2014 season. Tonight will be the first time the awards, created by the Broadcast Television Journalists Association, are airing on live television. The event acts as a companion to the Critics Choice Movie Awards. Jim Parsons, Emmy Rossum, Christina Applegate, and Fred Armisen will be among the presenters.

Cedric The Entertainer, host of tonight’s Critics Choice Awards, is best known for his roles in the TV show The Steve Harvey Show and his role in the Barbershop movies. He’s also served as host of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.

Tonight’s Critics Choice Awards have a live start time schedule of 8:00pm eastern time on TV channel CW, which hasn’t yet made clear whether it will broadcast the event online. The CW does allow some of its content to be watched online on its official website.
