The iPod touch 6th generation is approaching, and we’re here to fill in some of the details which Apple has kept quiet on as it continues to try to stretch a little more mileage out of the 5th gen model. The major questions at hand for the iPod touch 6 are what sizes it will come in - which is to say the 4.7 and 5.5 inch form factor of the iPhone 6 or the existing 4″ design - as well as when its release date is likely to arrive and which colors it will be available in.
iPod touch 6th generation size: Apple was forced against its will to offer the iPhone in significantly larger sizes than the existing 4.0 inches which it professed to believe was the ideal middle ground between screen real estate and portability. That move had paid off in spades in terms of increased sales across the board. Apple has not faced that same pressure when it comes to the iPod touch, due to the fact that it largely caters to a different market of teenagers and point-of-sale business customers. But with larger screens being more popular, Apple can make a major sales grab with a 4.7 inch iPod touch 6 and a 5.5 inch iPod touch Plus.
iPod touch 6 colors: Apple first introduced the iPod touch in neon colors two years ago, making clear that it was targeting younger buyers. It then offered the iPhone 5C in nearly the same color choices, again targeting a youth crowd. Sales of the 5C weren’t impressive. But with Apple continuing to target the iPod touch toward teenagers, we expect all but one of the new 6th generation color choices to be of the day glow variety. But after two years, the specific colors may shift to a new palette in the name of freshness.
iPod touch 6th generation release date: This becomes the trickiest question to answer, because Apple has already broken its usual pattern by skipping over the September 2014 window for the iPod touch launch. It’s too late for Apple to roll it out effectively in 2014 without creating inventory nightmares for retailers. The holdup is likely related to the fact that iPhone 6 demand continues to outstrip supply, and the iPod touch 6 will use at least some of the same components, which aren’t currently available. Look for the 6th gen model to see its release date shortly after the new year, once holiday iPhone sales pressure has eased at bit.

You copy and pasted off of Christian times I read the exact same article 3 days ago. Stanley Times and Christian times are very unreliable sources for example they copy each other after one says bogus information. In fact Christain times said in october in an article that the 6th gen is coming for sure to the ipad event. Anyways android is the same stuff but cheaper so don’t waste time and get a Moto G as an ipod.

I can’t for waiting iPod touch 6 Generation. I was thinking about iPod Touch 6 Generation the front side is better for color it look like iPhone 5c colors. I will new ID for finger like iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus. Better video has Video slow Move, And plus has iPod touch 6 Generation 5.5 inch.
