The New Orleans Saints face the Houston Texans tonight in an NFL football game on the second Saturday night of the 2016 preseason exhibition schedule. Both teams look to take a step forward after coming off 2015 seasons which didn’t quite turn out the way they might have hoped for, in this border-state matchup that spans conferences. Tonight’s game has a prime time start time and airs on TV channels in some markets as well as being available as a live stream online option.

New Orleans returns with longtime head coach Sean Payton and franchise quarterback Drew Brees, who look to get back into contention after some retooling of the rest of the Saints roster. Houston enters 2016 with head coach Bill O’Brien back in the fold, as it looks to move forward with newly signed QB Brock Osweiler, who comes over from Denver. The Texans have the home field advantage tonight, but it’s a short trip for the Saints.
