RD2 PGA leaderboard: BMW Championship scores time TV schedule

By the time the weekend is over, will the PGA leaderboard be topped by another newcomer at the BMW Championship, or will a veteran like Rory McIlroy return to his winning ways? These were the questions heading into the PGA Tour schedule at Cherry Hills this week, with most of the biggest names in golf heading to the high desert for the latest stop on the men’s golf tournament circuit - and the answers heading into Day 2 are intriguing. Today’s golf action will receive four hours of live TV coverage.

Rory McIlroy is indeed atop the PGA leaderboard heading into Round Two, but he’s tied with Jordan Speith and Gary Woodland, each of whom shot a three under par opening round of 67 at the par 70 golf course. Another nine players are one shot back at two under par. They include Billy Horschel, Russell Henley, US Open winner Matrin Kaymer, Chesson Hadley, Kevin Chappell, Matt Every, Graham DeLaet, Sergio Garcia, and Henrik Stenson. In other notable names, Phil Mickelson and Bubba Watson are each at even par for the tournament, while Tiger Woods did not participate.

Today’s Round Two at the PGA Tour BMW Championship has a start time schedule on television of 4:00pm eastern time, airing on TV channel The Golf Channel and running through 8:00pm.
