Odell Beckham Jr makes crazy touchdown catch Giants vs Cowboys (video)

Odell Beckham Jr instantly became a household name tonight with a fingertip touchdown catch for the New York Giants which looked not only physically impossible, but closer to a CGI creation straight out of the Matrix movie trilogy. The rookie Beckham reached behind his head for an overthrown pass, grabbed the football at an odd angle, bend his body to an improbable angle, pulled the ball in, shook off a penalty by the Cowboys defensive back, and scored the touchdown. The catch was instantly hailed as a classic by everyone from in-game announcer Al Michaels to NBA star LeBron James.

Michaels referred to Odell Beckham Jr’s feat as the catch of the year and “possibly of the decade” while LeBron tweeted that it was “the greatest catch ever possibly.” Hall of Fame wide receiver Michael Irvin opined that it was “simply one of the greatest grabs in a game I have ever seen.” Medical doctor Dave Siebert described the catch anatomically, referring to the “nice finger flexor strength” involved in the acrobatic grab. Game officials reviewed the play but confirmed that it was indeed a touchdown catch.
