NASCAR Sprint Cup Daytona race tonight — TV channel, live stream, time, schedule
The NASCAR Sprint Cup schedule comes racing back to life in 2016 with tonight’s Sprint Unlimited race at Daytona International Speedway, as the stock car racing circuit returns from a winter long hiatus. It’s an opportunity for 2015 Chase for the Cup champion Kyle Busch to defend his title, a chance for the other top drivers to take another shot at the crown, and a fresh start for those coming off tough seasons. Tonight’s race has a late start time and airs on a national TV channel as well as being made available as a live stream online.
NASCAR begins its 2016 season at its most famous race track in Daytona, as a prelude to next week’s Daytona 500. The Sprint Unlimited race is an opportunity for racing teams to find their footing and test out the track conditions ahead of the big race. It’s also the beginning of Tony Stewart’s final season, as well as the first season without Jeff Gordon, who has retired, opening the door for the next generation tonight.
