New England Patriots are accused of cheating again vs Steelers

The New England Patriots are once again being painted as cheaters after a confusion situation took place during their season opening game against the Pittsburgh Steelers last night. The incident came after a week in which Pats quarterback Tom Brady was cleared to play by a judge after having been accused of cheating in “DeflateGate” last season, and a day after ESPN released a report claiming that the team had been cheating for an eight year long stretch.

The incident in question involved the Steelers team headsets going out during the game, which took place at the New England Patriots home stadium. Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin was upset after the loss, claiming that it’s “always the case” that the road team’s headphones mysteriously malfunction during games, and insinuating that the Patriots employees had tampered with the equipment on purpose. The NFL put out a statement attributing the malfunction to the bad weather which included rain. However this may not be the last we hear of the incident.

Because the New England Patriots have been involved in so many scandals and accusations of cheating in recent years, with head coach Bill Belichick admitting guilt in SpyGate, Tom Brady insisting his innocence in DeflateGate, and the verdict seemingly still out on the latest accusations of team employees stealing playbooks from burglarized hotel rooms, this latest headset incident will be viewed by some as suspicious even if it turns out to have indeed been weather related. In any case the Patriots defeated the Steelers by a 28-21 final score.

    What a bunch of bullshit! making up reasons for losing, they (steelers) lost because patriots lead by brady are the better team. Period! crybaby, whiney babys!

      The Patriots made their bed by cheating furiously in the past. Now they get to lie in it. Any accusations they get about them cheating are absolutely merited, because they’re proven cheaters in the very recent past.

      If you don’t want to be accused of cheating, don’t be a cheater. Simple shit.
